Xentek Motorsport And Sam Harvey Continue For Second Ginetta GT5 Challenge Campaign

Xentek Motorsport are delighted to welcome Sam Harvey back to the team for a second season in the Ginetta GT5 Challenge this year, with the teenage talent ready to climb the order after a promising debut campaign.

Harvey is Xentek Motorsport’s second confirmed driver for the 2023 campaign alongside Ella Lloyd, with the South Yorkshire based team building an impressive line-up as they look to add to their four drivers’ titles and two teams’ crowns in the ultra-competitive GT5 Challenge.

With no previous racing experience under his belt, Harvey faced a steep learning curve last season and made impressive progress in his Ginetta G40. Good consistency saw him finish 17 of the 18 races, with his improving pace securing a best race result of tenth overall on three occasions.

Harvey now has front-running results in his sights as he returns to the grid with the crucial support of James E Smith Timber, Stainless International, R&A Properties LTD, Fire Management LTD, Foster Cranes, Buddy CRM, Luke 1977, Access Platforms and New Edge Investments.

Christopher Richards - Team Principal: “We are thrilled to have Sam [Harvey] back with us for a second season in the GT5 Challenge. Only starting his racing career last year with no previous racing experience, he had a lot to learn but took everything in his stride and had some great results.

“He's been working hard over the winter break and with the pace he’s shown pre-season testing, we’re confident he’ll be one to watch fighting at the front of the field this year. Sam brings along some amazing sponsors with him, so we’re really looking forward to welcoming them all back to the team.”

Sam Harvey: “After a very enjoyable first season of any kind of racing last year, I’m delighted that with thanks to my sponsors, I have the opportunity to race again in 2023. I strive for progress and aim to push further up the grid. I very much look forward to working with Xentek Motorsport again and hope to repay their belief in me.”
