Xentek Motorsport Welcome Hadley Simpson For 2025 Ginetta Campaign

Xentek Motorsport are delighted to announce talented young racer Hadley Simpson as their first confirmed driver for a multi-car entry into the 2025 Protyre Motorsport Ginetta GT Championship.

The South Yorkshire team are extending their presence in Ginetta racing into a second decade next year, with a hugely-successful run to date seeing them win no less than ten Ginetta titles since joining the paddock for the first time in 2014.

Xentek Motorsport have enjoyed fantastic results in the GT Championship since it was introduced in 2023, winning the Teams’ title at the first attempt and scoring six overall race victories and 41 class podium finishes to date.

Simpson joins the team for the first time as they prepare to embark on an exciting new chapter for the GT Championship in 2025, with the introduction of the V8-powered, 390bhp G56 GTP8 set to produce the fastest ever one-make Ginetta racing.

The 18-year-old driver will be joining the Ginetta paddock for the first time after a successful first two years of his car-racing career. The karting graduate started in BRSCC Fiesta Juniors and secured multiple podium finishes, before contesting the Britcar Endurance Trophy this year.

The Sheffield-based racer enjoyed a sensational, record-breaking Britcar season, emerging as both the overall and Clio class champion. He went on to make a GT Cup debut in a Ginetta G55, scoring a pair of class podium finishes and gaining valuable experience ahead of his transition to Ginetta’s for 2025.

Sarah-Jayne McKenna – Team Manager: “It’s an exciting time to be part of the Ginetta GT Championship with the new G56 GTP8 being introduced next year and we’re delighted to have Hadley joining us for his first experience of Ginetta racing.

“He’s put in some impressive performances in his career so far and we’re looking forward to seeing what he can do as he steps up to GT machinery. We’ve got a good testing programme planned and we’re confident that he’ll head into the start of the season as a force to be reckoned with.”

Hadley Simpson: “I’m extremely happy to be joining the Ginetta family. Ginetta has been the launchpad for some of the top talent in motorsport, producing drivers who have gone on to compete at the highest levels. It’s inspiring to follow in their footsteps, racing on the same tracks and striving to build my own journey on such a great stage.

"The Ginetta GT Championship is fiercely competitive and a critical step in my development, providing the perfect opportunity to fine tune my skills as I aim for the next stages of my career in British and European GT racing.

“Coming off the back of a championship win in endurance racing my confidence is high, but I remain focused and ready to work hard. I know this championship will test me against some of the best up and coming drivers and I’m determined to learn, grow and make my mark both on and off the track.

“Choosing Xentek Motorsport was an easy decision. Their reputation for nurturing talent and delivering race winning cars speaks for itself. From the moment I joined the team, they made me feel welcome and confident that I would have the tools I need to succeed. I’m excited to work with them, push myself to new levels and strive together for race wins and championship success.”
